I took the time myself to do so since I personally wanted to be able to program that "Killer, killer, killer, killer beat" into my Yamaha RX15 (I know, pretty lame machine), and here's the result:

Artist: Kate Nash
Song: "Caroline's A Victim"
BPM: around 120 is perfect

Pattern 1: Pattern 2:
|K---|--K-|----|----| |K---|--K-|----|----|
|----|S---|----|S---| |----|S---|----|S--S|

Pattern 3: Pattern 4:
|K---|--K-|----|----| |--K-|---K|----|----|
|----|S---|----|S---| |----|-S--|----|S---|

Pattern 5:
|--K-|---K|----|----|
|----|S---|----|----|

Program those patterns in order from 1-4
and then repeat programming the patterns
again but this time substitute pattern 5
for pattern 4.

That's it! You've got the basic beat to "caroline's a victim".
Occasionally there is some variation to that order and a
hi-hat and some claps are added here and there but
this is the core of the song.

Try it out! Leave feedback in the comments section. If you need a drum machine, there are some great software substitutes out there:
HammerHead Rhythm Station
and my personal favorite:
Propellerhead ReBirth

Hope you enjoy this!

-Bobby (No Last Name Given)

Welcome To URGH! +Plus the song of the week!

Welcome to URGH! A music blog, your internet accompaniment to the radio program "URGH! A Music War". In case you've never heard of it (or me for that matter), I am Bobby (No last name give) and "URGH!" is an Alternative (I use that term loosely) music show that aims to expose people to music that you normally might not hear and/or have heard of. I play everything from The Pipettes to Brand New to Kate Nash to Taking Back Sunday to Camper van Beethoven to Dead Kennedys to Wall Of Voodoo and everything and anything in between. Some artists have had some mainstream exposure but I aim to expose those bands' non-mainstream sides. For example, I like playing Fall Out Boy (go on, say what you want), but I am not going to play anything from "Cork Tree" onwards. I will however play things from their Fueled by Ramen days. Right now, "URGH!" is temporarily of the air, but should be back in a couple weeks. The station is WFTU, 1570AM (Riverhead, NY) or wftuRadio.com (PC ONLY!) for those of you who aren't in Riverhead (or search "WFTU" at shoutcast.com for Mac users). Most likely, the show will be on Friday nights at 8pm but we're still scheduling over at WFTU right now so don't quote me on that. Also, I should mention that you'll be able to check here and see the playlists from each week's show and so if you missed the title or artist of a particular song, you'll be able to find it out right here! We do have a myspace page I should mention, it's located at: http://www.myspace.com/urghradio so add us if you like!
Now I'd like to mention a perk of the blog. I will be giving away an mp3 of one song that I decided is the "Song Of the Week" over here at "URGH!" headquarters. It'll be first announced and played on the show and then uploaded for you to download. I thought this would be something nice to do.
For the first song of the Week I present...(Drumroll please...)
"Caroline's A Victim" by Kate Nash. This infectious UK single was released a b-side here in the States but since most American's don't buy singles I figured I've got to give this girl some free promotion. This song combines electro beats and synths with pop sensibilities that just cannot be beat. It's simply an amazing track. Please feel free to download it, but if you like her music, GO OUT AND BUY IT!
Song: "Caroline's A Victim"
Artist: Kate Nash
Release: "Foundations" US single
Download link: http://rapidshare.com/files/85038349/03_Caroline_s_A_Victim.mp3
